Founded in 2009 by Ron and Andrea Lipof and Barbara Resh, GG's Original is a manufacturer of the best tasting gluten free specialty gourmet potato pancakes and bakery items for retail and food service organizations. Our products are manufactured in a dedicated gluten free facility and are currently available in retail and foodservice organizations.
We utilize 100+ year old recipes and expert chefs to produce all of our specialty items just like GG (Great Grandma) used to make. Our professional kitchen facilities are located in Needham, Massachusetts.
Our Management Team
WAYNE LAROCQUE is the Company's Chief Executive Officer. His background includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer for a gluten free pasta company, lean manufacturing principals, budget development, invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, human resources and payroll. He has negotiated domestic and international supply chain contracts, OEM hardware agreements and key strategic partnerships.
RONALD LIPOF is the Company's founder. He enjoys an extensive career of launching emerging growth ventures and moving them to the next level through merger, sale and IPO. Mr. Lipof received his Bachelor of Science degree in Government Relations from Boston University and is a 2002 Honoree of The Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award.
JERRY YOUNG serves as the Company's Vice President of Sales. He has over 50 years of industry experience with Harold W. Young Inc., a leading independent food broker in New England and throughout the Northeast, where he was President. He is the Past President of B.C.S.C. (Boston Confectionery Salesman’s Club), the Past President of N.C.B.A (National Candy Brokers Association), a member of Broker Advisory to NCA, and was inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame in 1987. Mr. Young received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University.
MARC CARNEY serves as the Company's Quality Control Manager. He
has more than 20 years of retail management, administration, consulting
and customer relations experience with CVS Pharmacy and OSCO Drug/Brooks
Pharmacy. Mr. Carney is a Registered Pharmacist in Massachusetts. He
received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences and his
Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tulane University.
KATHERINE GRANT is the Company's Head Baker. She has 15 years of culinary management experience in a variety of positions at large organizations including Round Table Pizza, McDonald's, Taco Bell and Shaw's/Star Markets. Ms. Grant is ServSafe certified.
